Born May 22, 1948, in Hamlin, Texas, Barbara was the daughter of Alfred Ray and Audry Merl Elizabeth Merline Bramlett Griffin. She grew up and attended school in McCaulley, Texas. She lived most of her life in Hamlin, serving the community for numerous years as a waitress at Jordans Restaurant where she knew most customers name and order just by the sound of their voice. Barbara was an avid reader, and enjoyed time with her children and grandchildren, beating them at SkipBo. She loved cooking for and spending time with her family. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Hamlin.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Merline Griffin her son, Thomas Morgan and her grandson, Christopher Richardson.
She is survived by her son, Rodney Morgan of Hamlin three daughters, Melissa Sharlett of Abilene, Audrey McClure and husband, Kevin, of Weatherford, and Tammy Clawson and husband, JJ, of Hamlin one brother, James Griffin and wife, Cindy, of Sweetwater four sisters, Carol Young of Sweetwater, Charlotte Godlove and husband, Bill, of Lubbock, Vicky Rimes and husband, Sam Tyra, of Goree, and Beverly Larsen and husband, Jack, of Hamlin ten grandchildren, Brandon Richardson, Joshua Richardson and wife, Kaitlin, Tye Mundie, Jakob Clawson, Alyssa Clawson, Jessica Clawson, Caitlyn Clawson, Marilyn Morgan, Brandon Morgan, and Jesse James Morgan three greatgrandchildren, Sary Richardson, Jackson Richardson, and Sophia Richardson.
