Cleon Warner

Born February 17, 1946, in Stamford, Texas, Cleon was the son of Jethel Lewis and Metta Fae Mayfield Warner. He graduated from Hamlin High School, and attended college at Cisco College and McMurray University. On May 8, 2009, he married Virginia Kidd at Anson, Texas. He retired from ConocoPhillips after working 20 years as a Systems Technician, and from KinderMorgan after 15 years as a Sub Pump Specialist. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, rooster fighing, golf, baseball, gardening, and hunting. He was a fan of the Texas Rangers, and any team his Grandchildren played for. Cleon loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jethel and Metta Warner, and son Lonnie Green.

Cleon is survived by his wife of six years, Virginia Warner of Hamlin his sons, Casey Warner Amanda of Seattle, Washington, Stacey Warner Kim of Hamlin, and Brian Green of Kingsville his daughter, Monti Green Jerry of Hamlin his brothers, Jackie Warner Rita of Hamlin and Danny Joe Warner Della of Carthage his grandchildren, Rowdy Warner, Braydin Warner, Damian Griggs, Bubba Ellison Lacy, and Tiffany Brannan Chad six greatgrandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
