Curtis White

Curtis White, 59, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Hamlin Memorial Cemetery, directed by Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home. Visitation will be 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2017, at Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home Chapel.
Curtis was born in Hamlin, Texas on February 23, 1958 to Charles and Lula Ann White. He passed away at a care facility on Wednesday, August 9 2017. Curtis fought a long battle that started in 2003, but he did not let that slow him down too much. Curtis loved to cook, sing, and hang out with friends. Curtis worked with the Jones Family for over 20 years, and then went to work for the City of Hamlin for over 10 years.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents (Lula1997) (Charles2008) and his brothers Henry Lee White (1979), and Charles Edward White (2016). -Survivors include: two sons: Matthew Harper and Troy Harper booth of Abilene, a brother: Douglas L. White, Sr. (Marilyn) of Big Spring, sisters: Doris Valentine of Noodle, and May D. Smith of Big Spring. Nephews: Tabori L. White(Tish) California, Douglas L. White, Jr. of Big Spring, Henry J. White, Sr. of San Antonio, Antwone D. White (Rosie) of Big Spring. Nieces: LeKeshia L. White of Noodle, Turquoise L. White of Hawaii, Topaze M. White of Big Spring. Great Nephews: Angel Salas, Tyrell White, Xavien Plunkett, Andrew White, Douglas White III, Marcos White and Henry White, Jr. Great Nieces: Alaunna White, Alyssa White, Gabby White, Alliaunna White, and Timara Threats. And a host of family and friends he loved to spend time with.
