David was born May 5, 1931 to O.H. and Ida Mae Haupt Casey in Florence, Texas. He graduated from Winters High School, and studied at North Texas State University, graduating with a Bachelors Degree. On April 13, 1952, he married his lifelong love, Ketta London, in Abilene, Texas. He was the owner of Heidenheimers Department Store in Hamlin for over 41 years. In his spare time, David enjoyed Fishing, Hunting, and Golfing. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hamlin
David is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Daniel Casey and Donald Casey, and two sisters Esther Hagar and Leora Wood.
David is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ketta London Casey of Graford son, David London Casey of Denton daughters, Toni Hodnett of Hamlin, Terri Casey Purgason of Bartonville, and Rita Waltrip of Lipan sisters, Marguerite Russell and Bonnie Fairey grandchildren, Justin Smith, Joni Patterson, and Hannah Waltrip greatgrandchildren, Brett, Emily, Jace, Morgan, Austin, and Hunter and numerous nieces and nephews.
