Donna Armstrong

Hermleigh- Donna J Armstrong, 69, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home Chapel, Hamlin, TX. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday until time of service. Burial will be in Hamlin Memorial Cemetery.

Born December 18, 1951, in Roby, Donna was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mildred (Colcazer) Egly. She graduated from high school and continued her education to serve her communities as a LVN for over 36 years. Donna married William Armstrong on September 3, 2012, in Hermleigh. Donna’s passion was music, Donna’s family’s passion is music, together they would sing, play, and record music. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter (Joni Watts) and husband, James Hill.

Survivors include husband, William Armstrong, Jr; children, James Hill (Ashley), Michael Hill (Cassidyy), Dwane Watts (Angela), Barbara Langrill (Robert) and Vicki Hunt (Pat Murphy); siblings, Catherine Smith (Harold), Melvin Egly and Carol DiFillipo; twelve grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
