Doris Goodgame

Hamlin-Doris Louise Goodgame, passed away April 28, 2020, in Hamlin.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, directed by Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home.

Born April 24, 1941, in Comanche County, Louise was the daughter of late Boyd Herbert and Hartines Elaine (Donham) Lakey. Louise graduated from Hamlin High School in 1959 and obtained her LVN License at Stamford Memorial Hospital.  Louise cared for many people over the last 55 years before retiring.   She married the love of her life and best friend, Robert L Goodgame, Jr on November 3, 1967, in Anson. Louise and Robert loved to travel, making memories, exploring new places and spending time with their family.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents, husband (Robert L Goodgame, Jr), a Son Ronnie Dale Goodgame.

Survivors include four children, Lisa Burgess (Justin) of Sweetwater, Rickey Goodgame (Jacque) of Fort Worth, Eileen Goodgame of Hamlin, and Lesa Davis,  twelve, Grandchildren, twenty-five Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, Siblings:  Herbert Lakey (Barbara), Barbara Hansen (Sam), and Pauline Bunkley (Marcus), Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Very close friends, and honorary dog named Minnie.
