Ernestine (Tina) Alaniz

Ernestine (Tina) Alaniz passed away November 9, 2022 in Abilene, Texas.  Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Hamlin, directed by Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home.

Tina was born February 4, 1970, in Dumas, Texas to Vera Ann (Johnson) and Ernesto Rivera. She married Manuel Alaniz Jr. February 14, 1986 in Anson, Texas.

Tina worked for at the Hamlin nursing home for eight years then, Hamlin Memorial Hospital for ten years. She loved her family, especially her precious grandkids. Her children have great memories of big family meals at her home. She was very caring and compassionate. She loved to sing, to dance, and enjoy life.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; one son, Manuel Alaniz III; nephew, Dionisio Montanez; and niece Aurrora Montanez.

Survivors include her husband, Manuel Alaniz Jr.; son, Antonio Alaniz, and wife Roxanne Alaniz; daughter, Avelina Kamer, and husband Dustin Kamer; son, Jose Alaniz, and fiancé Mary Carlile; sisters, Margarita Molina, and husband Marico Molina, Rachel Brazee, and husband Gene Brazee, Aurora Alaniz, and husband Armando Alaniz, Dora Anderson, and husband Ricky Anderson; brother Adolfo Rivera, and wife Cindy Rivera; sister, Nora Rivera, and fiancé Henry Lewis; six grandkids. Tyler Adler, Carlie Kamer, Jayden Alaniz, Paisley Kamer, Dustin Kamer Jr, Xavier Alaniz; numerous aunts, uncles, and lots of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be, Adolfo Rivera, Antonio Alaniz, Dustin Kamer, Albert Montanez, Jose Alaniz, Adrian Alaniz, and Aaron Rivera.
