HAMLIN FRANCES L. DERINGTON BOIL, 88 passed away Wednesday March 6, 2013 at Snyder. Services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the Church of Christ in Hamlin with burial at Hamlin Memorial Cemetery. ation will be 5:00 6:00 p.m. Saturday at AdamsFosterRay Funeral Home.
Frances was born February 26, 1925 to William Paris and Willie Mae Turner Derington at Crowell, Texas. She married R B Boil at Hamlin on May 20, 1944. Frances worked for Southwestern Bell for numerous years until the office was moved to Stamford. She then worked for Piggly Wiggly, Eddie Jays Cotton Warehouse, and Hamlin Memorial Hospital until retiring. Frances enjoyed sewing, making dolls and attending musicals. She absolutely loved going to Walmart. She put 38,000 miles on her car in ten months driving back and forth to the Walmart in Abilene. Frances was also very involved in Senior Citizens and a member of the Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers A.D. Derington and Alvin Derington, and three sisters Ona Faye Holton, Geneva Dennis and Irene Lawson.
Frances is survived by a son and daughterinlaw, Billy and Janice Boil of Sweetwater three grandchildren, Michael Boil and wife Jandi, Nicholas Boil and fiance Stacy Robles, and Payton Boil and fiance Megan Carrillo two greatgrandchildren, Brayden and Bryli Boil one sister and brotherinlaw, Betty and Sam Mannering of Odessa and numerous nieces and nephews.
