Jose Aldape

Jose Aldape, 67, of Hamlin passed away Friday, September 16, 2017 in Abilene. A celebration of life and rosary service will be held at 7pm, Friday, September 22, 2017 at Adams- Foster-Ray Funeral Home. Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Jose Guadalupe Aldape, was born in Hildago County, TX on December 12, 1949, to Juanita Cavazos and Ruben Aldape, Sr. Jose was a long time resident of Hamlin and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Hamlin. He worked the majority of his life as a farmer. Jose was an animal lover, especially smaller pets like cats and dogs. He also enjoyed watching old westerns and war movies. Jose was also an avid fisherman and loved music. Most of all, though, Jose loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with all his heart. Jose was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, son and friend. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita Garza and Ruben Aldape, Sr.; his brother, Paulino C. Aldape; and his aunts and uncles.
Jose is survived by his two daughters, Marie Moreno and Rosemary Velazco; his brothers, Ruben Aldape, Jr, German Garza, Jr, Sefernino Garza, and Santiago Garza; his sisters, Maria Guadalupe Aldape and Susanna Garza; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
