Langly Rister

Langly was the son of John and Sharon (Grissom) Rister. Langly graduated from Hamlin High School in 1988. He worked for Pied Piper Pet and Wildlife for several years as a salesman. Langly married LeAnn Beauchamp on November 11, 2011, in Abilene. He was very active in the Hamlin Little League Program where he served as President and was instrumental in starting the Quad County Baseball League. Langly enjoy watching his son play golf, going hunting and fishing, playing cards and going gambling. He had a very big heart and loved taking care of everyone. Langly attended the New Life Fellowship Church of God.
Langly is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Ola Mae Rister and William Langly and Ina Grissom.
Survivors include his wife, LeAnn Rister; two sons, Tyler Rister and fiancé, Kalicia and Bren Rister; his parents, John and Sharon Rister; two brothers, Danny Rister and Ronnie Rister, and wife, Dana; one sister and brother-in-law, Chanelle and Mitch Hall; a very special granddaughter on the way, Oaklyn Rister; special friend, Neoma Bailey; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and their beloved dog, Abby.
A golf scholarship has been set up at the Hamlin National Bank in memory of Langly or donations may be made to the New Life Fellowship Church of God.
