Larry Collins

Born May 6, 1952, in Hamlin; Larry was the son of Joe Calvin and Alta Faye (Long) Collins. He graduated from Hamlin High School in the class of 1970, and enlisted in the Army National Guard, where he served for six years. A lifelong resident of Hamlin, Larry worked in many jobs throughout his career, finishing as a truck driver. An avid outdoorsman, Larry enjoyed Fishing, Hunting, Camping, and watching the weather. He served on the Hamlin Volunteer Fire Department for several years, and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Faye Collins.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Collins of Hamlin; son, Justin Collins of Graham; daughter, Amanda Thornbrue and husband, Ray, of Graham; step-son C.W. Crossam of Hamlin; step-daughters Sonnie Ledezma and husband, Oscar, of Hamlin, and Stacie Crossam of Hamlin; brother Tony Collins and wife, Jamie, of Chinook, Montana; nieces Melissa Olsen and Courtney Skoyen and husband, Scott; nephew Taylor Collins; grandchildren, Allison and Ashley Thornbrue, Tyler Collins, Charlie Angel, and Kori, Kodi, Norella, and Gunner Ledezma.
