Leroy Gardner

Hamlin-Leroy (Petey) Gardner, 59, passed away January 30, 2019. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2019, at the Central Baptist Church. Burial will be in Hamlin Memorial Cemetery, directed by Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home. Visitation will be 7-8 p.m. Sunday February 3, 2019, at Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home Chapel.

Born July 15, 1959, in Hamlin, Leroy was the son of the late Henry Roy and Eula Mae (Collins) Gardner. He married the love of his life Dolores Hinkle March 13, 1984, in Hamlin. Leroy worked for Olney Brothers Trucking in Hawley. He enjoyed watching TV, playing games and cooking out for his family.
Leroy is preceded in death by one daughter, Leanna Gardner and his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores Gardner; two daughters, Rebecca Gardner and Jennifer (Mcintire) Rutherford and husband William; four brothers, Donnie Gardner (Doris), John Gardner (Tammy), Roy Don Gardner (Carmen, and Jackie Gardner (Kristi); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
