Lupe was born June 19, 1959, to Oralia Romero, in Hamlin. Lupe graduated from Hamlin High School in the spring of 1979. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Lupe was a very loving, happy person. He never met a stranger and would go out of his way to help anyone he could. Lupe was known for riding his trusty bicycle everywhere he went. He was an avid volleyball and softball fan and enjoyed attending games whenever he could. Lupe also had a strong love for dancing and it is said that he could really cut a rug. At some point, Lupe underwent knee replacement surgery and after fully recovering, regained mobility and reduced his pain, giving him a brand new lease on life. Lupe was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him and loved him. Lupe was preceded in death by his mother, Oralia Romero; two brothers, John and Robert Romero; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and his grandparents. Lupe is survived by two nieces, Patty Woolf and husband Michael and Virginia Arce and husband Noe; his uncles, Fred Romero and wife Lupe and Jose Romero; his aunt, Josie Ledesma and husband Pete; as as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
