HAMLIN MANUEL ALANIZ, III, passed away Friday May 10, 2013 at Hamlin. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at the Church of the Nazarene and burial at Hamlin Memorial Cemetery. ation will be 6:00 7:00 p.m. Monday at AdamsFosterRay Funeral Home.

Manuel was born December 3, 1986 to Ernestine Tina Rivera and Manuel Alaniz, Jr. at Stamford. He was a lifelong resident of Hamlin and graduated from Hamlin High School in 2005. Manuel was a truck driver for Lonesome Dove Transport in Aspermont. He loved his family and treasured the times they spent together at barbcues. Manuel was never shy and always made friends easily. He was also an avid wrestling fan and loved watching it on television. Manuel is preceded in death by two cousins, Aurora and Donesio Montanez.

Manuel is survived by his parents, Tina and Manuel Alaniz, Jr. of Hamlin his fiance, Jana Mitchell two brothers, Antonio Alaniz and fiance Roxanne Adler, and Joe Alaniz and fiance Mary Carlile sister and brotherinlaw, Avelina and Dustin Kamer two nephews, Jayden Lee Alaniz and Tyler Adler one niece, Carlie Nevaeh Kamer grandparents, Ernesto and Vera Ann Rivera, and Manuela and Manuel Alaniz, Sr..
