Pearlie Putnam

Pearlie Raye "Polly" Putnam, 78, of Hamlin passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017, in Sweetwater. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm, Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the Church of the Nazarene in Hamlin. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 26, 2017, from 7:00pm to 8:00pm, at Foster-Adams-Ray Funeral Home, in Hamlin.
Polly was born November 11, 1938, in Kosse, Texas, to Lethin and Ida Lucille (Kent) Crocker. She married Bedford A. Putman on September 3, 1959. She was a lifelong resident of Hamlin. Polly worked at the Bluebonnet Café for years; later she worked for the Hamlin ISD food services for several years. Her hobbies included; playing tennis, fishing, and watching all sports. She especially enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys. Polly was an avid Pied Piper Fan and loved watching her kids participate in their many activities.
Polly was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bedford A. Putnam; brother, David Croker; and brother-in-laws, Donald Kuykendall and Robert Putnam.
Polly is survived by her children; Christi Thomas, Codie Perry, Chelsie Perry, and Gabe Perry; sister, Dorothy Kuykendall: sister-in-laws, Irene Putnam, and Glena Putnam, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
